Im on youtube!!!!!! a little update

Hey hey everyone! today's post is going to be a little different to the usual. Today im writing about you tube, ive recently started up my own YouTube channel, since ive had Instagram for the last two years and my blog for just under a year i decided it was time to take the next step and create my own YouTube channel, Which i have wanted to do for so so long but ive been terrified of the feedback i would receive. but since making my channel and putting up a few videos. All i can say is i have received great feedback and more views and subscribers than i thought. i just wanted to make the channel as a little bit of something extra on the side and just because i generally enjoyed doing it!

And im so glad i did! i wanted to let my instagram followers get to know me a l little bit better and let them into my world! documenting my outfits the things i buy and even some tutorials! But i have received some great feedback which makes it all worth it!

so yeah.. this had just been a little post but i just wanted to keep everyone updated! there's more videos coming up everyday and more blog posts!

thank you for reading :-)

Outfit of the day and new purchases!

Well the weather is ridiculously hot here in the north east! well its 20 degrees but for us that's really hot and the fact its horribly clammy makes the heat even worse. And when its not it usually rains through the night and we have thunder storms! and since its normally cold here i buy clothes for cold weather so when there's a heat wave i panic and usually think i have nothing to wear. And since it was really hot here today and i was heading off for a spot of  retail therapy well charity shopping for me! i threw on this St Micheal 1960s shift dress which is something i never wear but all my other dresses have jackets or cap sleeves so this dress was my only option. But on the bright side its a cute summer dress!.. Enjoy.

1950s basket bag - around £25 - Durham vintage market

I also did a spot of charity shop shopping at Sunderland and it was only a short one! but i managed to pick up two great buys. I managed to get my hands on another amazing feather hat. Since they are so hard to come by and at the moment they are usually really expensive so i was really happy when i found this one for only £15!

I also found this amazing pearl necklace at new look. Which i never usually shop but i decided to pop in and found a bargain for only £3! and it looks vintage

Styling at Durham thrift fair - what i wore and what i bought!

Today i was working and helping out the stylist at the Durham thrift fair held at the gala theatre. The point of the afternoon was the show people how to up cycle and put life back into clothing from charity shops or just old clothes in there wardrobe they never wear any more. And to show people to how to dress for there body shape. We also put together some outfit ideas on mannequins showing people how to style up items from each charity shop. And also just giving people a little bit of styling advice on clothing they'd bought from the stalls Giving them some interesting ideas on how to style it that maybe they wouldn't have thought of putting with it. It was also a great opportunity to work with a great stylist and the days atmosphere was great.

But of course they were local charity shop stalls with a few interesting vintage items so i couldn't help treating myself to a few vintage treats. And oxfam had a £5 a kilo sale where i managed to pick up a few good pieces. So here is some photos of what I wore for the event and what a managed to get my hands on.
